Obituary of Yuoko Ocean Wilburn

Yuoko O. Wilburn of Edmonds, WA passed away quietly in her sleep on January 24 2022 at 95 years young. Born in Aomori Japan she left everything that was familiar to her and came to the United States. She overcame a language barrier, started a family with a military man that meant moving to many parts of the world. She taught her children to always do be kind and generous. She encouraged us to live life to the fullest and to always take responsibility for what we do. I will never forget that while living in Germany she made and donated over 100 items of clothing for a local orphanage. That was the kind of person she was. She never put herself first and did everything for her family. She is survived by her daughter Linda Watson, son-in-law Andrew Watson and grandsons Christopher Watson and Jeff Watson.
