Obituary of Elvira Gipaya Natanawan
Elvira was born on March 7, 1946 to Ignacio Asunción Gipaya, Sr. and Esperanza Tanglay Gipaya in Paco Manila, Philippines. She was preceded in death by her two older siblings, Elmer Juan Tanglay Gipaya & Teresita Tanglay Gipaya and youngest sister, Priscilla Gipaya. She is survived by her three younger siblings: Rebecca Gipaya Magtuba, Milagros Gipaya Lataquin & Ignacio Gipaya, Jr.
She met and married the Love of her Life, Dominador Natanawan on October 15, 1967 and recently celebrated their 54 years Wedding Anniversary.
She graduated in 1967 majoring in Administrative Management and worked for the Department of Transportation in the accounting offices for over 31 years in the Philippines.
She immigrated to the United States in December 1999 along with her husband and two youngest children: Philip and Susan Natanawan.
She worked in the US for 15 years until she retired. She loved to travel and most especially to the Philippines to visit and reuniting with her older children and grandchildren.
