Dear Ed,
It’s been a long, beautiful life with your sweet Ellie. Her namesake is a spitfire with beautiful blonde curls. Today is a day of celebration and the love that surrounds her and you. I wish I could’ve been there! Please know that I love you and I’m so happy you have all of these memories to hold onto. It’s always a sad day saying that final goodbye, but I hope you know that you made her as happy as she made you and you took great care of her. She was a lucky woman to have had you loving on her the way you have! So, try to smile. She loved it when you made her laugh!
