Lillian Erickson

Obituary of Lillian F. Erickson

Lillian F. Erickson, our beloved Mom & Nana, died June 11th, 2022, in her home in Bothell, Washington, after a tough battle with cancer.

Lillian was born January 26th, 1943, in Gardner, Massachusetts, the daughter of Charles Genaitis and Blanche Jonaitis of Gardner.  She was preceded in death by her younger brother Richard in 2012 and her husband of 55 years, Philip A. Erickson in 2017.

While in High School, Lillian was active in the band, Future Teachers of America Club, French and Dramatic Clubs, and was a member of the Pro Merito Society.  After graduating from Gardner High School, Lillian completed her degree in English at Northeastern University.  She married Philip, of Hubbardston, MA in 1962, and they lived in MA, TX, and IL prior to being transferred by the Navy to the Seattle area in 1977, where they made their permanent home, in Bothell.  Lillian was a true Patriot serving God, Family, and Country.  She was raised in the Traditional Latin Mass of the Roman Catholic Church and was steadfast in her beliefs and of the Traditional Rite her entire life.  She was a founding member of the SSPX Corpus Christi Church in Edmonds, WA.  She was a several term President of the local Chapter of the John Birch Society and a member since 1966.  She served as a Republican National and State Delegate on several occasions…from “Goldwater Girl” at the 1964 Republican National Convention until her recent election as a Washington State Delegate to the 2020 Republican National Convention (Ultra MAGA!)

In addition, Lillian was a Real Estate Agent/Broker and actively managed rental homes in the Seattle area for 20 years.  Any free time was filled with piano & classical music, socializing with her many friends, motorhome adventures, traveling with family and the ardent consumption of volumes of religious, historical, and political information.

Lillian is survived by two sons, Philip John, Kirkland WA, Paul, League City TX, a daughter, Ann, Seattle WA, and her eight grandchildren Daniel, Rachel, Nicole, Sarah, Christina, Alexandria, Oliver, and Cooper.
