Obituary of Emma Lou Meicho
Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Emma Lou Meicho passed away early on the morning of Friday October 21st, 2022.
Emma Lou was preceded in death by husband James and son Ronald, brothers Harold, Lawrence JR, and sister Eva Marie.
Emma is survived by her sister, Irene, son Keith, as well as Daughter in Law Cary, and grandchildren Sara, and Zachery.
Emma Lou was born and raised in the San Juan Islands and graduated from Orcas Island High school.
James Meicho and Emma were married on May 10, 1952. They lived in North Seattle until their retirement years when they moved to Camano Island. Until recently Emma and Jim had been living at the Wesley Homes Lea Hill Retirement Home.
Emma and Jim enjoyed traveling and were avid square dancers. Emma was always busy with the Camano Country Club and their church in Stanwood.
Family was very important to Emma Lou and she was always concerned for the well being of the family. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a private interment for Emma, and a Memorial at a later date.
