Obituary of June Marie Anderson

June Marie Anderson, of Edmonds, WA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022. Even though saddened by our loss, we know she is dancing with joy in heaven alongside her husband Sig and son Mark. June is survived by her children, Craig Anderson and Kim Hammons. As well as her grandchildren: Casie Wofford, Carley Anderson, Allie Dessert, Ashley Watkins and Josh Hammons; and her six great grandchildren who always brought her joy and happiness to her life.

June was born January 5th, 1932, in Coleman, Michigan. She was adopted by Everett and Rachael Coryell. Then in her teens moved to California with her family. She loved the beach and the glamor of old Hollywood. June later met a dashing young Marine named Sig on Laguna Beach and they were instantly smitten. They married in 1950 and had three children Mark, Craig, and Kim. The family moved to Shoreline in 1962 and they settled there.

June was a stay-home-mother and did her best to support her family. Over the years she held several jobs including: food service at school, medical records for local hospitals, and paperwork for Crista Ministries. She was active in her church and enjoyed going on walks, baking, sewing, dancing, music, playing cards, and reading her bible. When the opportunity presented itself, she absolutely loved getting dressed up, going dancing with her spouse, and laughing with her lady friends.
