Peggy and I met in 1972. We were hired as waitresses for a disco called “The Stuffed Tomato”. The disco didn’t last long but our friendship did. Peg was a great friend, she always remembered your birthday with a card/or gift. When we talked on the phone it would last for hours. The picture I posted is when we went to the château saint Michele winery with Linda, another friend from 1972. I going to miss our phone calls, her always on time birthday cards and her vodka martinis.

. ALOHA
Hawaiian Poem by Charles Alphin
Aloha means farewell to thee
Aloha means Good-Bye;
It means until we meet again
Beneath a tropic sky..
Aloha means Good Morning.
And always to be true,
But the best thing that Aloha means,
is I love you.
Love, Liz & Bill Whinnie

There are too many amazing memories of Peggy to list them all… All of them in the days of Waikiki…as we grew close and formed an amazing friendship. She will live on in my memories forever. We lost her too soon, .. a reminder that tomorrow is not promised

Peggy was a dear friend. I first met her at Thirteen Coins in 1997 when I was working at The Seattle Times. We shared June birthdays and always laughed together. She is deeply missed.

My husband and I first met Peggy at the 13 Coins when the Seattle Times was still active next door to the restaurant. The Times moved out of that location as did the 13 Coins. Then we occasionally met at the QFC on Broadway. What a class act Peggy was. We will always remember her with fondness.
Our sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones.

My dear friend Peggy. I can’t thank you enough for being such a good friend for so long. I will miss the happy hour ventures, checking out new restaurants, the long phone conversations into the night and watching Seahawks games at your condo with Joe! You were fun, smart, and one of the bravest people I’ve ever met. Rest in Peace, my friend! See you on the other side someday!

Peg and I have shared many adventures. We met in Fairbanks and became fast friends. We were great travel buddies. Our differences just worked. We found the same things funny. My life has been blessed for having Peggy as my friend. She will be missed.

I will miss my friend, Peggy so much. We have been friends for 50 years, meeting in Hawaii in the 70's. We had so many fun adventures in Hawaii, Mexico, Palm Springs, San Diego, and Seattle. Shopping and martinis were always included.
Rest in peace my forever friend. I love you.

My dear friend..doesn't seem real. Will miss our late night marathon chats in which we discussed old times in Hawaii and that move to Alaska. Sorry I bailed on you in '76. I love you always and forever Peg.

Dear Peggy, you are and will be so missed by all your friends. I am glad I was one of them. We had many “belly laughs” together and I enjoyed your colorful personality. You helped so many people with your caring support and made a positive impact on more than you know.!
I will miss our time together on my back patio talking and laughing until late in the night.
I miss you my friend and I will never forget you. Much love, Diana
