Jeff and I met working together in the 90's at Boeing. He was an industrial engineer (IE) in the ESRC and I was a design engineer in electrical design. He was a great work partner, sharp mind and a great sense of humor. As he moved into the various tiers of mgt he always kept his humor and continued to be the same kind, respectful fellow we knew as an IE. I am deeply saddened by his passing and my heart goes out to his family, friends and fellow coworkers. I will surely miss Jeff.....Respectfully, Kim Covey

Jeff was pretty cool. There was a time when he had 777X On Load and it was when the program was brand new. Jeff and the manager decided to mount this obnoxious bell on a pole and every time we completed a bundle we were supposed to ring that bell. Well for me, that got old as it was loud and close to me. He came over for a crew meeting or something one day and someone rang the bell and I saw Jeff and promptly showed him a certain finger in front of the whole crew. The crew got real quiet because they couldn’t believe I did that. I looked at Jeff and he just started laughing really hard! I was really glad because I could have gotten fired on the spot. He was a great sport about it. I loved that I could always be myself around him and we had a lot of laughs as well as a few heated times. He always tried to help and never complained. He is missed.

I will never forget the time Jeff was over for my husband’s fantasy football draft and our 2 year old daughter was pointing to people to get them to dance. When she pointed at Jeff he didn’t miss a beat and busted out a few moves. It was so kind of him to not disappoint a 2 year old who thought the room full of guys were there to entertain her and not play fantasy football. We are so sorry for your loss, but please know that Jeff made an impact on all that were lucky enough to get to know him even just a little bit. Our deepest condolences, Rebekah & Vugee Preap

So sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Jeff at Boeing and also just lived across the street in the adjacent cul-de-sac for many years before we moved. My kids loved the Christmas Lights display and they always wanted to bring food down to see it over and over and he was always out there ready to chat with them. It was a pleasure to have known him. My sincere condolences for your family. Daniel McNerney

The "never without a smile" statement rings true with Jeff. That's something I tried to pick up from him at work and show similar patience when going through challenging moments in both work and life. He will be missed.
