Our entire family has been enriched by knowing our dear Elaine Anderson. From the first time I first met her, over 30 years ago, I have had the joy of sharing many family-togethers with Elaine. She always brought joy and warm encouragement, along with one of her yummy salads. Elaine and I loved getting together for lunch, just the two of us, and we solved many of the world’s problems over soup and salad (and sometimes tiramisu!) at Olive Garden. In all our times together, Elaine was warm and compassionate, always seeing the best of others. She loved her husband George dearly, and often told me how good he was to her and for her. She loved her children and grandchildren, and appreciated each of the them for their own unique gifts. Elaine was an encourager by nature, and I personally am grateful to her for encouraging one of my dear grandsons when he was going through a hard time in his life. Each of us who has had the blessing of spending time with Elaine has been changed for the better. I know our loving God welcomes Elaine now: “Well done, good and faithful servant, and enter into the joys of my heavenly kingdom.”
