Obituary of John Michael Moran

50 years old, of Bremerton, died peacefully on November 3, 2008. He was born in Boston, Mass. and moved to Lynnwood in 1973, most recently resided in Bremerton. He worked as a marine pipe fitter at Todd Shipyard for 20 years. He was also employed with Albertsons in Bremerton. John enjoyed telling a good story, laughing, and he loved karaoke with his friends at Our Place Tavern. He is survived by his parents, John and Joan; sister, Jody (Gary) Olson; nephews, Zachary and Nicholas Olson; niece, Amanda (John) Butler; special friend, Denise; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. John was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey. Do not shed tears that he is gone, smile because he lived. A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10 from 4-7 p.m. at Becks Funeral Home, 405 Fifth Ave. S, Edmonds, (425) 771-1234. The Funeral Mass with recn following will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6511 176th SW in Lynnwood; with Graveside following recn at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline.
