Ron and I grew up just two blocks apart. We became best friends shortly after a fight between us during second grade that I lost. Our friendship carried us through high school, college for him and thoughout our adult lives. I was the best man at his wedding, he the best man at mine. Ron was generous to me and I never forgot that. He loved his daughters dearly. Our friendship endured across 2,000 miles and some disagreements that we worked out. I have only fond memories of my good friend.

I knew Ron from seventh grade on. Imagaine, what could be better than eight brand new high school grads taking off for a beach resort in another state. It was a great trip and it stayed -- mostly -- within the law. That's the way we ended our close friendship. A great time was had by all. I knew Ron was in Portland and intended to get in touch. I did not know he had come up to Seattle or I would have made contact. But that's the way I'll remember Ron -- always young, happy, and full of life.

I only went to school with Ron thru the four years of high school since I was one of those Kenney kids. I remember Ron as a good looking, polite kid that always had lots of friends around him.May his family find comfort in all the good memories that they have.

I was so sorry to hear about Ron and the suffering he must have endured. Our paths hadn't crossed since we graduated almost 50 years ago, but I'll always remember him as such a nice young man. May he rest in peace.

Everyone who knew Ron will share the sorrow in his passing. We were best of buddies from the age of 5, when we were living on Cain Street hill. Of course we fought, but that was second nature in all of us. We had a chance to reminice several years back, when Jay sent him by to visit. He always had a good time and a good word for all, and I'm happy to have known him all these years. He will always have a special place in our hearts.

Our lives separted after H.S. graduation, but I will always remember the fun times we had in our youth. I remember Ron as being an honest person who cared for everyone. He was everyone's friend. I have taken some time to go back and look at our yearbook, class of 1960, and find it difficult to accept the fact that so many of our classmates have passed on to a better place.I do remember in football how hard Ron would hit. He broke my nose in practice. To the family, you have my deepest sympathy

I am sorry to here about Ron passing on. We were class mates in the class of 1960 at Clinton High School. No one can say anythigh to make things better. You have to hold on to the memories. In time you will be able to talk aabout them and laugh. Tom
