Obituary of Fred Raymond Eachon

Fred Raymond Eachon died surrounded by his family at Northwest Hospital in Seattle, Washington, on Friday, August 28, 2009. Fred was born in Coeur dAlene to George and Bonnie Eachon on July 19, 1939. He graduated from Coeur dAlene High School in 1957 and attended North Idaho College. In 1960 he married Marilyn Wiks, and they have resided in Lynnwood, Washington, since 1971. Fred was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, son Matthew Eachon of Huntington Beach, California, daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Byron Elder, grandchildren Marcus and Melissa Elder, of Lynnwood, and many wonde friends. He will be dearly missed. An avid sportsman, Fred learned to fish and hunt at an early age, a passion which would endure his lifetime. Fred worked in a variety of professions and especially enjoyed his work as a general contractor. After retirement, he developed an interest in cooking, canning and gardening. His favorite times were those spent with family and friends. A celebration of Freds life is planned for Saturday afternoon at the family home.
