Obituary of Dorothy E. Brown

Age 89, long time West Seattle resident died August 5, 2009. She was born in Spooner, WI the seventh child of John Mary Essick. After WWII, Dorothy moved to Seattle where she met and married Ed Brown. They spent a year living in the Philippines. Upon their return to the USA they settled in West Seattle and became members of Holy Rosary Parish. Dorothy nurtured and enjoyed the company of many life-long friendships. Dorothy spent the final years of her life at Foss Home and Village. Dorothy and Ed never had children, but they took great interest and pleasure in watching their nieces, nephews and children of their dear friends grow to adulthood. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Cemetery services will be Tuesday August 11, 2009 at 11:00am at Holyrood Cemetery, 205 NE 205 th , Shoreline, WA.
