Obituary of Robert Wade Mecord

Born September 26, 1926 in Topeka, Kansas and went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 28, 2009. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike and Phil and his wife of 43 years, Lupie. He will be missed by his wife, Janice; daughters, Judy and Pat (Bill); along with 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and by his dog, Oscar. Robert served 4 years in the navy during WWII; and worked as an electrician and retired as Washington State Electrical Inspector. His pleasures in life included: camping, square dancing, gardening and playing games. He mostly enjoyed helping others. He lived a very active life and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 1 to 4 pm at 23908 22 nd Drive SE in Bothell. Family and friends are welcome. Remembrances may be given to your favorite charity.
