Obituary of John Lester Vincler

John L. Vincler of Lynnwood died peacefully at the age of 76 on August 18, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Detroit, Michigan from Wilma Ronai and John Vincler, he was the oldest of eight children, with three brothers and four sisters. John is survived by his wife Clara; three sons, Raymond (Lydia), Robert (Zon), and Richard (Margaret); one daughter Susan; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. John served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956, and finished his career working 30 years for Boeing, retiring in 1994. He was actively involved in the Knights Of Columbus, with a 4 th degree Knight. John served as an Usher for Saint Thomas More Parish, and never failed to do his Rosary each day. He was a very loving husband, father, and friend. John loved his sports, especially when it comes to baseball. The Mariners and Seahawks were his favorite teams, and you couldnt change the channel when the sports were on. He also loved to read a lot of books, especially Readers Digest. John will be deeply missed by his friends, and most especially, his family that he left behind. He is now resting in peace with God, The Father, in Heaven. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Becks Funeral Home, 405-5 th Ave. S, Edmonds, Washington, (425)771-1234. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Thomas More Parish, 6511-176 th St. SW, Lynnwood, Washington, 98037. A Reception at the church will follow the Mass. Interment will follow the reception at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to Saint Thomas More Parish.
