Obituary of Anne Duncan

Anne passed away Feb. 23, 2009 at the age of 100 in her home of forty plus years. Anne was born in Wickenburg, AZ as one of ten children. She and her family moved to Jerome, AZ where she learned to enjoy long walks. After her fathers death her family moved to Phoenix, AZ where she attended business school. She married and later moved with her daughter to YakimaWA, where she worked for KIT Radio. Anne moved to Seattle, WA where she worked for many years as a legal secretary, and was remarried to ClydeDuncan. After their retirements she enjoyed car trips to Reno, friends and family, many birthday parties at Chinooks. A member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church her faith was a very important part of her life. Anne will be missed dearly by her family and friends, her generosity will never be forgotten. Her unique style of laughter will always be with us. She is survived by her brother George Ferra, daughter Arlyne Schell (Alton), grandchildren Scott Schell (Julia),Staci Ciez(Stan), great grandchildren Aimee, Erica Ciez and Kristen Schell. A Memorial Mass was held Thursday, March 5, 11:00 a.m. at St. Marks Catholic Church, 18033 15 th Place NE, Shoreline, Washington98155. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to your favorite charity.
