Obituary of Roy L. Cosper

ig On Tuesday, December 16, 2008, Roy L. Cosper went home to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 73. Born in Seattle in 1935, Roy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953 and from the University of Washington with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1958. He married Joyce in 1958 and together they raised three children: Michael Cosper, Wendy Govert and Shelly Garrison. He was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Meg, Hannah Clare Cosper, Joshua, Christopher Lexie Govert, and Joel Seth Garrison. Roy devoted his life to his family and to his Savior, Jesus Christ. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Wanda and is survived by his brother, Dick, his wife, Joyce and his children and grandchildren. ig ig Services will be held at AlderwoodCommunity Church ig ig ( 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd. , Lynnwood ) on Saturday, December 20, at 11am . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Support Seven Ministries ( PO Box 476 , Edmonds , WA98020) or to the Alderwood Community Church Missions ministry. ig
