My father was a very sweet man. He will be missed by his children and family here on this earth. This last hard 5 months of his life he had one request, he wanted was to go home. He has now gone on to his heavenly home. He has fought the good fight. A man who was respected, enjoyed and gave love to all who knew him. An example for all. I love you, Dad.Loretta

I have so many fond memories of Roland and the majority of them include laughing and playing cards. Whenever we would get together he so enjoyed to visit, drink coffee, and have me beat him at any card game of his choice. You will be missed by so many people here on earth but we are so thankful that you are now in your eternal home. I am fortunate to be able to look at the two boys in my life daily and see so much of Roland. We love you and will see you again soon.Ashlee

THe heartache is down here, but Dad's having the time of his life in heaven. Picking a gospel song on his banjo and seeing people who got there before him. And of course, seeing Jesus in person.Dad, thanks for living your life for Him, and providing a couple of generations such a wonderful example.

I am so thankful that Roland loved his family so much that he made that long trip to Mo to share time with the family. I loved to hear his pray of thanks before we had our meal, to hear him sing and strum the banjo and his laugh. WOW ! We will miss you here on earth but I know you are happy to be with our heavenly Father, to be completely healed of all illness and to be having a family reunion on a daily basis. I love you Uncle Roland.

I never had the blessing of meeting Roland Beasley, but from all I have heard he was a kind and wonderful man. I am lucky enough to count his beautiful daughter Loretta as a very close friend, and therefore know that Mr. Beasley has left a wonderful legacy. His sweet daughter Loretta must have inherited many of her great qualities from him, and therefore she and her siblings are a living memorial to a man I wish I could have known. To the family of Mr Beasley: you have my sympathy

The hardest thing about losing my grandpa is not being able to hear his laugh anymore. One of the last memories I have of him is playing cards and having a fun time. Of course whenever he woudld go set he would say, "Why you..." However, whenever he set you, it was accompanied by a very loud "BAM" as he would take your trick. It makes me very sad to think that my children will never be able to meet him.

Roland was cousin to my Mom (Irma Shaw). He treated me like close kin and kept in touch. He will certainly be missed at the annual Beasley family reunion in Mexico, MO this summer - and as long as the group still meets! What a blessing to look forward to a reunion with Roland in that Home Beyond the River promised by Jesus himself!

I remember one time when Roland and family came to my sister Audrey Patton's home. He was just leaving when I and my family arrived. He had a station wagon, tan I believe, and a whole bunch of kids in the back. It was quite a sight.
