Obituary of Sylvia Reykdal Crane

Sylvia entered into rest on March 19, 2009 at her home in Edmonds surrounded by her family. She was born August 26, 1917 in Wynyard, Saskatchewan, Canada. Sylvia received her RN degree at Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. She then moved to Long Beach, CA where she met and married her husband of 65 years, Mulford Jesse Crane. During the war, she worked at Seaside Memorial Hospital. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: John (Sally), Marion (Jim) Bradley, Lee (Lori), and Jean (Dave) Marty; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Paul and Jack Reykdal. A special thanks to Gloria Aquino for her gentle care of our wife and mother.
