Obituary of Denver Reedy

Denver passed away on March 18, 2009 in Monroe, WA surrounded by his family. He was born on Sept. 20, 1937 in Melvin, Kentucky. Denver was a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters for 30 years. He was former President of Local 405 in Miami, FL and a member of Local 1144 in Seattle, WA. He also taught apprenticeship classes for 5 years at South Seattle Community College. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara; sons, Denver Jr. (Lena), Dan (Rozanne), and David; granddaughters: Jennifer and Leanne; his sister, Inez Owens, and brother Troy; and numerous nephews and nieces. A Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 pm on Tuesday, March 24, at Becks Funeral Home, 405 Fifth Ave. S, Edmonds, (425) 771-1234. the Funeral service will be held on Wed., March 25 at 1 p.m. at Becks Funeral Home with Interment following at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline, WA.
