Obituary of Marjorie Marie Straughan

Marjorie lived a happy and spiritual life for 87 years. She was born and lived in the Spokane area most of her life and, as a nurse, contributed to the welfare of many. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Vern, and her daughters, Kathleen (Dave) and Margie (Tom), as well as grandchildren Daniel, Stephanie and Michelle. Our family is grateful for having her with us these many years and for all she has given to us. A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Beck"s Funeral Home, 405 Fifth Ave. S in Edmonds, (425) 771-1234. A Celebration Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 6 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 22209 " 58th Ave. W in Mountlake Terrace; with a Graveside service on Saturday, November 8 at 1:30 at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, Washington.
