Obituary of Quentin King Jackson

ig Born in Wenatchee, Washington to Isabel Ross and William F. Jackson. Moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington where he met his wife Bea. Quentin graduated from the U. of W. with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and from the U. of W. School of Social Work with a Masters degree. ig ig Retired for many years, Quentin had worked for DSHS, the VA Hospital and Childrens Hospital. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, The Caledonian and St. Andrews Society and the AAUW. He loved and supported classical music, opera and all things Scottish. ig ig Quentin is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bernita (Bea); his sister Mary Francillon; his brothers J. Ross (Marilyn), Stephen (Lynn), David (Dean), Robert (Edie), Alan (Carol) and many nieces, nephews and friends. ig ig There will be a private burial service. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. , Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Christ Episcopal Church, 4548 Brooklyn Ave. NE , Seattle . At Quentins request memorials may be given to Christ Episcopal Church or to Oxfam America , 226 Causeway St. , 5 th floor, Boston , MA 02114 . ig
