As a senior citizen who has lived in Edmonds for more than fifty years, I have some great memories of my community. One of them involved a visit to Angie’s Little Italy which was my favorite restaurant.
My daughter took me to Angie’s as a gift for my birthday. On the way to the restaurant, my daughter, a junior high student, had one of her tooth braces break.
After we were seated, Angie came to our table, and I asked her if she had a tool so we would be able to cut a part of the brace’s wire off. She didn’t, so she asked several other guests, but none could help. Angie went back into the bar, found a person with nail clippers, and our problem was solved.
When Angie sold the restaurant, all of her regular customers were disappointed, and I have never found a place that could equal Angie’s spaghetti or a more friendly owner.
