Obituary of Nancy Lee Meehan

Nancy was born on September 23, 1940 in Everett, WA and passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the age of 82 on September 16, 2023.  She leaves behind sons Jeff Meehan (Janell) of Snohomish, and Steve Meehan (Kari) of Hansville; her daughter Denise Ledingham (Todd) of Poulsbo; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; her brother, Fred Wood (Jean) of Lynnwood; her brothers-in-law, Mike Beckley (Lesley) of Bellingham, Byron Roselli of Vancouver, WA, and Gordy Beatte of Plain; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nancy was welcomed into heaven by her loving husband of 53 years, Dennis; three loving sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Mary Lou Roselli, Margaret Beatte, Harriet and Ted Miller.

Nancy and her husband Dennis owned Denny’s Furniture in Seattle, Tacoma, and Marysville over the span of 30 years.  Nancy found great joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren; she always had a full social calendar.  She spent the last several years enjoying life in a retirement community where she loved to participate in anything related to artwork, especially painting.

On Thursday, September 28 at 10:30 a.m. a Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 7^th Avenue N, Edmonds with Interment following at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline.
