Obituary of Helen Clarie Foisy

Helen C Foisy (McCormack) had her eternal birthday on December 31, 2023 at her home in Mountlake Terrace, after a long life and some challenging health issues that she faced. She was the youngest of eight born to George and Amy McCormack and lived in various homes in Canada, until she moved to Everett, WA when she met Art Foisy. From that union came five children.  As she was the last of her siblings, she kept relationships with her brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as those grand and great grandchildren; together with other numerous relatives and friends, who she cherished throughout her life. Her faith in God was her strength throughout her life, but especially in the serious challenges she faced.

Her wish has always been to not go on about accomplishments.  But many would say she was an over achiever in her way of doing things, in her special way, including for those who would enter her life, including at her "beauty and hair chair" over the years.  She was an advocate for helping to assist those relatives and friends to enter eternity, mostly by her commitment of prayers for them. We expect that she will be welcomed by many who are awaiting her presence. And we who remain, will look forward to being with her, some how, some way, through the grace of God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. May she rest in peace.

A Funeral Mass will be offered for the repose of her soul on Friday, January 5, 2024 a5 10:30a.m., preceded by a Rosary at 10:00a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 - 7th Avenue N, Edmonds, WA; the Graveside Committal will immediately follow the Mass at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline.
