Obituary of Dage Paul Yim

Dage Paul Yim, also known as Paulie. Born March 5, 1979 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and left us on February 12, 2024, in Everett, Washington.

Paul was raised in the Richmond Beach and Shoreline areas.  He attended multiple elementary schools in Shoreline, Einstein Middle School and Shorewood High School where he graduated in 1997.  Following high school he took some courses at Shoreline Community College before embarking on a long and physically demanding job of laying carpet.  After a serious leg issue in 2018 he was no longer physically able to do such a demanding job full time, and he turned to selling flooring for the last few years.

Paulie loved life and was always quick with one liners, or to laugh with friends.  He also enjoyed playing his guitars, watching sports, especially his beloved Seahawks!  He was a passionate fantasy football player - he was so creative in picking witty team names to change to every week.  He enjoyed watching movies, playing card games, especially poker, and recently became passionately involved in online gaming.  When Paulie wasn't playing games himself, he could always be found playing with the kid’s at group functions, and the kiddos loved him!  He was also silly at times and would, for example, randomly put on costumes any time of year and parade around the house like it was his normal clothing.  Paulie also loved his superheroes, especially Batman!

Paulie loved listening to all kinds of music, from 90's-2000's alternative and metal to 60's classic rock - and everything in between.  His favorite performer was probably Chris Cornell and one of Paulie's prized possessions was a framed newspaper article about Chris Cornell given to him by his dear, late friend Joe.

Paul is proceeded in death by his father, Red Yim, and is survived by his mother Polina Lee (Charles Lee), sister Paulina Seo (Sam Seo), his nephews, Ethan and Evan Seo, and his brother Moses Yim.

Paul is also preceded in death members of his chosen family Joseph Antoncich, Peter Martin, Peter Fisher and Adam Fisher.

Paulie will be missed by both his families, his blood related family and his chosen family, as well as all of his friends whose lives he touched.  We all loved him and will miss him for the rest of our days.
