Mrytle, I love you my friend. You are like a sister to me. I am so lucky to have been touched by your magic smile and laughter over the past 22 years. You are my "HERO". I can only smile every time I think of you! Oh the stories I could tell. Everyday had a new chapter in our life. Sharing stories of our family, our passion for doing hair and the love of God! Thank you! Love you, Sandi Rae

The first time I met Myrtle was on March 4th 1980. We were both hired at the JCPenney styling salon, she was sooo cute and funny, we would go out to the mall and SHOP, she sure taught me how to shop. I always teased her that when she wasn't spending her money, she would spend mine, as she would find STUFF for me to buy.. Myrtle "I LOVE YOU" and have been missed by all, including every client that frequents the salon..Love EVIE

I met Myrtle at JCPenney when she bought blinds from me. She started doing my hair when I asked her if she could make me really blond! After she retired, she called to tell me and I asked her who was going to do my hair now, and she said " you'll come to my house!" I did that several times, until she and Pat moved. I enjoyed those times so much, and remember each time how she and Pat would stand outside so that I could find their house. I would always get lost! Myrtle, I will miss you!

We will all certainly miss Myrtle...her constant smile, her hugs. She and I were part of the opening team at the Alderwood Mall JCPenney in March of 1980. When I returned to the store in 2003, it was so great to see that she was still here. We all know she is in a better place, but she's left a big hole in our hearts.

Let me start by saying that Moy was first and foremost a Christian. She loved the Word which she read day and night. John 11: 25-26 says: I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth in me shall never die." Moy is not dead, but living in a better place. The bible also says absent from the body, present with the Lord. I know that Moy has gone up yonder to be with the Lord. So Lord we ask you to welcome heard into your arms. She fought a gallant fight and lived a life deserving of eternal happiness. Now I want to share with you how the name Moy came about. It was because she was so quick. You see I was 12 years old and came home from school one day. As I walked in the house she calmly said: "a smell cigarette". With one swift swing she reached over, snatched me by the collar pulling me into her snarling nose and said: "come here let me smell your breath." Not able to get the full mommy out, I yelled Moy and held my breath as she inhaled with her right hand at the ready. I stopped breathing immediately. With much relief she said "Awooh" and relaxed her grip as I slumped down in a chair with a sigh. I stopped smoking immediately. Moy was strict but had a love for us that was only surpassed by the love of our Father in heaven. She sacrificed a lot to see us excel. You may think Nike invented the phrase "Just do it", but Moy had that phrase down pat long before. Whenever I or any of us siblings would say we cant or dont want, shed say "just do it." She said that when I said I wanted to join the Air Force. I am now a retired veteran. When I told her I wanted to be an entrepreneur, she said what? Yu crazy? So I told her I could join the DOT as a federal agent. And again she gave the approving "yeah man, do it". I am now retired from the DOT. Well, weve all come a long way, and did a lot of ambitious things. All because of you Moy. So I just want to say thanks for being the best Moy in the whole world.

"Moy" was my grandmother. She always had this amazing grin on her face and spoiled me (like all grandmas should) and complimented me. She loved my curly hair and was truly an amazing woman. She cheered me on and helped me through any troubles I had. I will never ever forget her! I love you grandma!!
