Obituary of Myrtle Alretia Muschett

Myrtle Muschett, beloved mother of six, and wife to Alvin Roy Muschett for 50 years passed away peacefully in the presence of friends and family on February 12th after a courageous battle with pneumonia. Myrtle was born in 1933 in Jamaica, W.I. In 1959 she married Alvin Muschett (Pat). In 1968 Pat and Myrtle moved their family to Connecticut where Myrtle received her cosmetology license. In 1978 after living in Bridgeport and later in Trumbull, Pat and Myrtle relocated their family to Edmonds, WA. She was employed by JC Penney until her retirement one year ago and made many close friends both with her co-workers and her customers. Pat and Myrtle recently moved to Port St. Lucie, FL, but had returned to the Mukilteo area to visit family and friends when she too ill. Myrtle was a loving wife and mother, and a dear friend to many. The loss of her exuberance and infectious laugh will leave a huge void in all of our lives. Myrtle will be dearly missed by her husband Pat, her sons Lloyd and Harold, daughters Camille, Jennifer, Dawn and Patrice, sons-in-law Michael, Ronnie, Bob, Dave, daughter-in-law Julie, her brother Uriah, her sisters Winnie and Pernell, her twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday, February 19th at St. Thomas More Parish, 6511 - 176th SW, Lynnwood, WA 98037.
