I met Rick through my husband Bill when attending a seafood convention in Boston many years ago. Since then we became friends with Becky and him. A fun guy who always had a smile and a story to share. A perfect gentleman who always spoke lovingly of his family. We will miss seeing him at our annual fisheries do-dahs. Becky, you and your family are in our hearts and prayers. God bless you and give you his strength and peace. Love, Linda and Bill

To Rick's family and friends,Truly "one of the good guys"...first thing I thought. He was a customer of my company in the '80's,and beloved by all. Treated me and my colleagues with respect and regard...something about those Peter Pan Sfds folks.I will never forget the class, the smile, AND the twinkle in the eye...what a great guy!My thoughts and prayers are with you.Best,Jon McGraw

I remember Rick from high school, he was a great guy and treated everyone with respect. He always said hi to everyone, whether he knew them or not. It sounds like he remained consistent throughout his short life and was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. My sincere condolences to his friends and family.

I went all the way thru school with rick and played a lot of baseball with him in B'ham. We then went to Western together and played City League ball. Always loved that confident stride and that curled lip smile. Was a great guy and friend to many in those years. So sorry for your loss and to society in general

I will always remember our childhood, playing together. Spending the night at each other's houses. As we got a little older it was sports. We shot baskets, threw footballs and baseballs. So Rick, I will always have those and other fond memories of you. I was lucky to have a friend like you. My condolences to your family. God bless.
