Obituary of Rene Linda Boulware

Ren was born February 5,1948 in Aberdeen, WA and passed away April 30, 2009 after an extended bout with cancer at her home surrounded by her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Evelyn Walsh. Ren is survived by her loving husband Mike, loving daughter Lisa and her husband Mark, loving son Kelly, and loving dog Suzy. Ren married Michael Boulware in 1968 and together they enjoyed 40 years of marriage. They raised their children in Wenatchee, WA where she also worked for Windermere Real Estate and made many friends. Ren resided the last 9 years north of Seattle in Edmonds Mountlake Terrace. She worked a few years at the Woodhaven Veterinary Clinic where she made more wonderful friends and was a devoted homemaker. Ren brightened many lives with her openness, gentleness and desire to engage and be helpful to all. She was a passionate animal lover, painter and art connoisseur. She was an avid reader and book-club member. She found great rewards as a volunteer, and was a talented gardener and cook. Most of all, she was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in her honor to the Seattle Cancer Care Clinic or Snohomish County Senior Services.
