Merry Wick posted a condolence

Mr. Knautz was the vice-principal at Mountlake Terrace Junior High in the early 70's.
He was a kind, gentle and generous man who always had a good word and smile for his students. He supported my endeavor to try out for the Falcons' baseball team - the first female to do so at MLTJH. Thanks in part to his influence in my life, I've enjoyed a 30+year career in research sciences contributing to the fields of cardiac and pulmonary research and biotechnology.
Thank you so much for your unwavering belief in me, Mr. Knautz. You truly made a difference in this student's life.
May God's blessings be with you all, his family, who are grieving his loss. May the joy of your memories of Ken, Dad, and Grandpa give you peace.
Respectfully yours,
Merry Wick

I owe so much to Ken. He was an amazing mentor.
I am sure he is in heaven smiling down on his beloved family and many friends.
